ALPHA DRIVE ONE released its latest set of concept content for its debut mini-album EUPHORIA, further amplifying excitement ahead of its official launch on January 12 at 6 p.m. KST under WakeOne Entertainment.
Over three to four days, the eight-member group rolled out the "FREAK ALARM" version concept film and photos via official social media channels. The concept film weaves a mystical narrative, showing members interacting with various forms of shadows from figures trapped inside a TV screen to hand-drawn silhouettes before culminating in a striking alarm sound that hints at the energy of their title track of the same name. The accompanying photos showcase the group’s post-apocalyptic street style, pairing workwear-inspired outfits including leather jackets and ripped jeans with intense expressions and dynamic poses against rough, gritty backdrops. The visuals capture the moment the members face their inner struggles while highlighting their unified strength as a team.

Formed on Mnet’s survival competition Boys II Planet in September 2025, ALPHA DRIVE ONE was selected through more than 26 million votes from fans in 223 countries and regions. The group features a multinational lineup with five Korean members Lee Sangwon, Kim Geonwoo, Kim Junseo, Chung Sanghyeon, and Lee Leo and three Chinese members: Zhou Anxin, He Xinlong, and Zhang Jiahao, who performs under his childhood nickname Arno. Unlike typical short-term project groups formed by survival shows, ALPHA DRIVE ONE has a five-year contract, allowing ample time to develop their artistry and global presence.
Even before their debut, the group has proven its global appeal. Within a week of formation, their official Instagram account surpassed 1 million followers, with TikTok and X (formerly Twitter) accounts gaining 850,000 and 240,000 followers respectively. Their social media content, including short practice clips, has accumulated over 50 million total views, earning them the nickname "record-making machine" from fans and media alike. They have also released self-produced content and profile photos, giving fans a glimpse of their personalities and teamwork.
EUPHORIA will feature six tracks that tell the story of eight individuals uniting as one team after pursuing their dreams separately. Alongside "FREAK ALARM," the album includes pre-debut single FORMULA, which has already built significant buzz, plus tracks like Raw Flame, Chains, Never Been 2 Heaven, and Cinnamon Shake. Each song is paired with symbolic concept materials, from moving posters that hint at the mood of each track to a "Star Road" concept film that shows both bright, energetic and emotional, introspective sides of the group.
Fans, officially named ALLYZ following a global contest, have shared overwhelming excitement over the new "FREAK ALARM" content. The group has also released a behind-the-scenes clip of FORMULA, with more teasers scheduled including a highlight medley on January 6. As the first major K-pop debut of 2026, ALPHA DRIVE ONE is poised to deliver on its promise of "K-pop catharsis" combining powerful performances, cohesive storytelling, and global appeal to make its mark on the industry.
