BLACKPINK has added another milestone to their growing list of achievements in the United Kingdom, with their 2025 single JUMP officially awarded BRIT Certified Silver by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI). The certification recognizes sales and streaming equivalents exceeding 200,000 units, cementing the track’s status as one of the group’s most successful releases in the region to date.
Released on July 11, 2025, via YG Entertainment and distributed by The Orchard, JUMP marked a bold sonic shift for BLACKPINK, diving into hardstyle and eurodance genres with influences of club music and techno. The track opens with a cinematic guitar riff evoking classic Western films, layered over powerful beats and a hook that showcases each member’s distinct vocal style. Critics praised the song as a “high-energy anthem” (Billboard) and “a statement of artistic independence” (Forbes), which also earned it a spot on multiple year-end lists of 2025’s best K-pop tracks.
Commercially, JUMP made an immediate impact in the UK, peaking at No. 18 on the Official Singles Chart – the highest position ever for a BLACKPINK single in the market. It joins the group’s growing roster of BRIT-certified releases, including Pink Venom (Silver, 2024), How You Like That (Silver, 2022), and their albums Born Pink (Silver, 2024) and The Album (Gold, 2024). BLACKPINK previously made history as the first K-pop girl group to top the UK Albums Chart with Born Pink in 2022.
