BTS has officially confirmed its long-awaited return to the global stage with a масштабive world tour scheduled for 2026, marking the group’s first full-scale concert series since all seven members completed their mandatory military service.

According to the group’s agency, the tour will launch on April 9 with four consecutive nights at Goyang Stadium in South Korea, a symbolic homecoming expected to draw tens of thousands of fans from around the world. From there, the group will head to Tokyo Dome before embarking on an extensive international schedule covering North America, Europe, Latin America, and multiple Asian markets.

The tour is set to include approximately 81 shows across 34 cities throughout 2026, positioning it as one of the largest concert undertakings ever mounted by a K-pop act. Major stadium stops include multiple nights at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, and SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles venues previously associated with record-breaking attendance figures.

The announcement arrives alongside confirmation of BTS’s fifth full studio album, scheduled for release on March 20. Industry insiders expect the album to debut ahead of the tour to maximize global promotional momentum and reintroduce the group’s unified sound following years of solo projects and limited group appearances.
Fan response was immediate and overwhelming. Social media platforms were flooded with celebratory posts within minutes of the announcement, while global fan communities began organizing travel plans and ticket strategies.
ARMY membership presales are set to begin on January 22 through Weverse, followed by general ticket sales on January 24 via Ticketmaster and Live Nation. Concert analysts anticipate rapid sellouts, with some venues potentially adding additional dates depending on demand.
Music industry observers note that BTS’s return is expected to have a significant economic impact, not only for the touring sector but also for host cities, airlines, and hospitality industries. Previous BTS tours generated hundreds of millions of dollars in ticket revenue alone, with indirect benefits extending far beyond the music business.
While details regarding stage production and setlists remain under wraps, sources close to the tour planning suggest the shows will blend new material with reimagined versions of the group’s earlier hits, reflecting both their evolution as artists and the emotional weight of their reunion.
For fans who have waited years to see the group perform together again, 2026 is shaping up to be more than just a tour it is a long-awaited reunion moment on a global scale.
