BTS member V is commanding the fashion world once more as the face of GQ Korea’s February 2026 issue, fronting six distinct covers under the theme ‘ME & YOU & V’. The showcase cements his status as a longstanding Cartier ambassador, with every look curated to highlight the luxury house’s latest high jewelry and menswear collections.

Lensed by renowned Korean photographer Kim Hee June at the Grand Hyatt Seoul’s presidential suite, the covers capture V in dramatic transformations that push creative boundaries. Standout visuals include wet-haired intensity framed by a sculpted green mask paired with Cartier’s Ballon Bleu watches; smoldering red-haired gazes accentuated by layered diamond chain necklaces from the brand’s Panthère de Cartier line; and a bold shirtless pose draped in spotted fur that emphasizes his signature freckles – a feature fans have celebrated across social media with the trending hashtag #VintageV.

The 26-page spread is anchored by a deeply personal interview where V opens up about his post-service perspective on style and artistry. “Being away gave me time to rethink how I connect with what I wear,” he shared. “Cartier has always felt like an extension of myself – these pieces aren’t just accessories, they tell stories I haven’t been able to say out loud.”

Pre-orders for the six cover variants launched simultaneously across GQ Korea’s official site, Weverse Shop, and major Korean retailers like Kyobo Book Centre, with initial sales data showing over 120,000 copies reserved in the first four hours.
In tandem with the issue’s release, GQ Korea and Cartier announced a special pop-up exhibition at Seoul’s Dongdaemun Design Plaza from February 1 to 15, featuring original shots from the shoot and rare Cartier pieces worn by V. A live virtual tour of the exhibition will be hosted on GQ Korea’s Facebook page on February 3, with V scheduled to make a surprise appearance during the final 15 minutes to answer fan questions submitted via Instagram.
