Rookie boy group Cortis has marked a major streaming milestone, surpassing 8.3 million monthly listeners on Spotify as they celebrate five months since their official debut. The achievement highlights the group’s rapid rise in the competitive fifth-generation K-pop landscape.

CORTIS debuted on August 18, 2025, under BIGHIT MUSIC, introducing members Martin, James, Juhoon, Seonghyeon, and Keonho. Their first mini-album, Color Outside the Lines, quickly gained attention for its fresh sound and youthful energy. The title track “GO!” proved to be a breakout hit, later surpassing 100 million streams across platforms and helping propel the group onto global playlists.
To commemorate their five-month anniversary, fans known as COERs organized worldwide social media events using hashtags such as #HappyCORTISday and #5MonthsWithCORTIS. Supporters shared celebratory artwork, candid member photos, and messages of encouragement, reflecting the group’s steadily growing international fanbase.
Industry analysts note that reaching over eight million monthly listeners within half a year of debut is an uncommon feat for new K-pop acts. The milestone positions CORTIS among the fastest-rising boy groups of their generation and signals strong overseas traction, particularly in North America and Southeast Asia.
BIGHIT MUSIC has yet to announce the group’s next comeback schedule, but sources indicate new music is already in production for a spring release. With momentum continuing to build, expectations are high for CORTIS’s next chapter.
Five months into their journey, CORTIS is no longer just a promising rookie group they are quickly becoming a global name to watch.
