K-pop icon G-Dragon, real name Kwon Ji-yong, has announced his first official solo fan meeting, set to take place February 6-8, 2026, at Seoul’s KSPO Dome. Titled 2026 G-DRAGON FAM MEETING, the three-day event marks a milestone in the 20-year career of the artist known globally as the "King of K-pop".
The venue, located in Olympic Park, is one of South Korea’s premier entertainment facilities, with a 15,000-seat capacity and state-of-the-art rigging and seating systems that have hosted performances by the biggest names in music including BTS, EXO, and IU. Spanning 30,548 square meters across four floors, it is designed to accommodate large-scale events while offering amenities including 12 dressing rooms, catering facilities, and dedicated spaces for production teams.

The fan meeting comes on the heels of G-Dragon’s record-breaking Übermensch world tour, which concluded in December 2025. The tour included 39 shows across 17 cities in 12 countries, drawing an estimated 825,000 fans worldwide; its final three-night encore in Seoul alone welcomed 54,000 attendees. Unlike the grand spectacle of his concert tours, this event is designed to be an intimate experience, offering fans the chance to interact directly with the artist through conversations, games, and special performances.
Teaser posters released on January 8 via his official social media and fan community channels build anticipation with a minimalist black-and-white design, accented only by a single yellow diamond earring. The understated aesthetic hints at a focus on authenticity, allowing fans to connect with Kwon Ji-yong the person, as well as the iconic performer they admire.
While full ticket details are yet to be confirmed, industry practices suggest fan club members will receive priority access to pre-sales, followed by general ticket availability. Updates will be shared through G-Dragon’s official channels, his agency Galaxy Corporation, and a dedicated Japanese website for international fans.
The announcement has sparked excitement across global fan communities, with many sharing travel plans and expressing enthusiasm online, though some have noted potential scheduling conflicts with other K-pop events. This fan meeting also kicks off a landmark year for the artist: 2026 marks the 20th anniversary of his debut as leader of BIGBANG, one of the most successful groups in music history. G-Dragon is also preparing for the group’s upcoming comeback and a performance at Coachella 2026.
Widely recognized for his influence across music, fashion, and culture, G-Dragon has been named one of the most influential people under 30 in Asian entertainment and sports by Forbes, and has written 23 songs that have reached number one on South Korea’s Gaon Digital Chart. This fan meeting reinforces his deep connection with fans, who have supported him since his debut in 2006.
