On February 7, South Korean singer and producer ZICO gave an amazing concert in Tokyo. His performance was so amazing that the whole Keio Arena was filled with fans who had been waiting for a long time for ZICO's solo concert in Japan, which he hasn't done for eight years, the successful show of the artist, who is also a composer and lyricist, was a sold, out concert and became the latest proof of his great popularity in East Asia.
2026 ZICO LIVE: TOKYO DRIVE concert, which marks ZICO's 2026 tour, starts with a crowd, pleasing car that immediately grabs your attention. From there, ZICO shows his next exciting stage rolled up from the back of a huge rapper's car. With no hesitation, he smoothly puts on a show, yummy one hit after another; "Artist"(the fan, favorite song), "Boys And Girls, " " (Any Song), " "SPOT!, " and " " are some examples you will find in the set. The beautifully diverse set not only features the intensity of hip, hop but also the melodious versatility of ZICO who is skilled as a rapper and singer.
A live band which brought a multitude of layers to the songs and interactive engagement with the audience, were some of the elements that supported the concert's high, energy atmosphere. ZICO's style of performing was characterized by very controlled movements and great charm, therefore the audience kept on cheering, the clapping never stopped, and the sing, along moments went on for hours. Watching the scenes where he delivers significant rap verse and dotes on the subtle vocal changes in the songs that are more reflective was great. Thank you for them! They were great.
The show also had Ikura, a member of a Japanese duo YOASOBI as a special guest, who took the stage with ZICO for the song they did together. Not only excited the fans but also emphasized the musical synergy between different cultures. The last encore was led by ZICO, who came up with the idea to perform a fan favorite "Okey Dokey" among other lively songs to finish the night.
After the concert, ZICO talked about his path and how performing live is a way of him finding his real artistic self. He said he will get closer to the fans more often, especially his international fans. Also, he shared that his new song Yin and Yang (FANXY CHILD Ver.) is still doing well. After the concert, it was trending very high on YouTube in Japan.
ZICO's performance in Tokyo was a soldout event, showing that he still has a strong influence in the Asian music scene which is very competitive, and that he has become one of the most interesting solo artists in Kpop.
