Since making her acting debut as the lead in the hit drama Snowdrop in 2021, Jisoo has proven her talent beyond music. She has since starred in Newtopia and the popular Netflix series Boyfriend on Demand, while also achieving great success as a solo musician with her EP Amortage released last year.
Richard Gianorio from Madame Figaro emphasized during the presentation: “She is not just a star, but a cultural icon loved by millions. What makes her special is her bravery to leave her familiar space and successfully build a remarkable career in acting as well.”
This title also makes Jisoo the first Korean artist to win this award since its launch, further proving her growing influence in the global entertainment industry.
The festival will continue showcasing outstanding productions from around the world until April 28.
