Actor Ha Jong-woo has taken a significant step in his entertainment career by signing an exclusive contract with PeakJ Entertainment, the agency confirmed on February 2. The move marks a new chapter for Ha, who drew attention for his performance in the recent television drama “Kim So-hyun’s Bodyguard.””

PeakJ released an official statement expressing confidence in Ha’s potential. “We are delighted to welcome Ha Jong-woo to PeakJ. He brings a unique blend of charisma, depth and versatility to his roles,” the agency said, adding that it will provide comprehensive support to help him expand his activities across acting and media projects.
In His Interviewed: "We are very happy to be working with actor Ha Jong-woo, who has various charms and strengths." They continued,
"We will not spare our full and meticulous support so that Ha Jong-woo can fully demonstrate his unique color and potential in various fields, including acting."
Ha Jong-woo debuted in 2021 through the web drama “Heart Time: Melo,”” earning early positive reviews for his emotional range and screen presence. Since then, he steadily built his career with supporting roles that demonstrated his ability to convey subtle nuances, especially his well-received portrayal of Baek Chi-hoon in tvN’s drama “No Use Lying.””

Industry observers say Ha’s decision to join PeakJ aligns with his growing ambitions. The agency represents well-known talents including Moon Ga-young and Kim Do-hoon, and has established a reputation for nurturing actors with diversified portfolios. Experts suggest that Ha’s association with PeakJ could open doors in mainstream television, film and brand partnerships, broadening his public profile.
In his early career, Ha also appeared in multiple commercial campaigns and public service advertisements, which industry insiders believe helped him build a grounded public image beyond dramatic performances.
Commenting on the new contract, Ha Jong-woo expressed gratitude to his fans and excitement for upcoming projects. “I am deeply grateful for the support that has brought me this far, and I look forward to working with PeakJ to challenge myself in new roles,” he said, according to the agency statement.
With PeakJ’s backing, Ha Jong-woo is poised to strengthen his presence in the Korean entertainment industry, with several potential projects reportedly under discussion ahead of his official debut with the agency later this year.
